FLYING FISSION MISSION
Violet Ray meets scientists Lise Meitner and Ida Tacke Noddack as little girls. Ida proposed fission and Lise proved it in the lab. They take Violet Ray on a different route to the 4th Dimension. Becoming as small as atomic nuclei, Ida and Lise take Violet Ray on an amazing Flying Fission Mission through the crazy quantum world.
DYNAMO DNA DYAD
UltraViolet Ray meets little Rosalind Franklin, who shows how she discovered that the DNA molecule is a double helix. Then Rosalind unveils her creation, a Dynamo DNA Dyad slide. But the double ride gets wild when UltraViolet Ray finds out how small changes can make big mutations!
MARIE CURIE’S COURAGE
UltraViolet Ray meets Marie Curie who graduated at the top of her class at 15 but was still not allowed to enroll in a university. Marie shares how she went to “Floating University,” an illegal night school with students teaching each other what they knew. Marie’s persistence to learn eventually earned her the first doctorate awarded to a woman and an unprecedented two Nobel Prizes. Marie’s daughter Iréne continued her mother’s research and received one as well.
