IDEC approached the Mill+ & Nicholas to conceive, shoot and design this fully VR experience. The piece was developed to engage and educate Biogen's sales force to better understand the production of Bio Similars. We shot on location in the HQ research facility located in Hillerod Denmark. In addition to shooting 360 live footage we also shot Lidar passes and then augmented those set extensions with 3D - to be able to peel back the skin of the lab and help viewers get a greater understanding of this otherwise very dry information.
SCANNING THE FACILITY WITH LIDAR ALLOWED US TO CAPTURE COMPLEX ENVIRONMENTS MORE QUICKLY. THE LIDAR ALSO GAVE US ROOM TO ENHANCE THE LOOK OF THE FACILITY - KEEPING THE VIEWER ENGAGED.
