An original idea for a series of plush toys with accompanying animated back stories. Brightly colored, felt monkeys with velcro scabs. Each monkey has an individual story of epic defeat and accompanying scab pack™. You can purchase additional scab packs like trading cards and because they are velcro you can stick them on yourself, other monkies in your collection and on your friends..... for fun!

In a world... where the truly bold put their balls on the line every day - Scabby Monkies are here to remind us that every bad ass has their day where not everything goes according to plan. These little, snackable, time-capsule stories show an infamous risk taker in their prime, pushing the limits of puny human ambitions to the absolute extreme. Each heroic primate will go down in history for their contributions to their sport and be immortalized in their moment of folly for us to enjoy!
Think of it as the Darwin Awards, Jackass, and AFV .... but for adventure seeking monkies.

Great Reference for proportions
Design Style
Taking inspiration from Historical documentary and sports footage as well as contemporary puppet craft Scabby Monkies has a unique surreal quality. Puppet-like CG characters are juxtaposed against realistic environments and props. Cliffs are extraordinarily large and hazardous as well as exaggerated to be more dramatic. Deserts are vast and dry, trains and rocket cars are loaded with engine power and heft. Characters have stylized proportions and and soft felt materials. Should be able to make a small visual leap into the "real world" as a felt toy doll. The contrast of these softer characters, hulking props and dramatic "real" feeling environments will be an amazing look.

Diving Monkey, Goose Campari, tried to pull off a back breaking Quad-Lindi-Jack in the Box Triple flip at 1,400 ft. He did more that after hapless insect got to close the action and ended up in his Speedo.
